Wedding favors are gifts that are presented by the bride and the groom to the guests who were being invited in their wedding ceremony. The gift symbolizes gratitude and appreciation for the guests and is usually presented on the wedding day itself. Although this ritual had its origin in Europe but now it has spread to other countries as well.The wedding favors usually consist of small gifts such as the bomboniere which is a small box made of precious stones or crystals which contained sugar cubes or almonds in it. Traditionally five almonds are placed inside the box and wrapped with flamboyant fabric which symbolizes wealth, longevity, fertility and happiness.
